Hike the A.T. from Lehigh Furnace Gap to Lehigh Gap.

This is a short, relatively easy A.T. hike which includes the north trail. This is one of the PA A.T. sections with good views. Bring lunch & water; wear sturdy shoes. Rain or blizzard cancels. Meet at Eckerd's Drugs, Walnutport. Call Leader for further information.

Tired of a dreary winter? Join me for a "hiking in the green" at Beltzville State Park on this day after St. Patrick's Day.

Lots of hemlock, pines, some rhododendron, and a scenic little waterfall for our lunch break. Bring lunch and water; wear sturdy shoes. Heavy rain or heavy snow cancels - light rain or snow will not. Rail trail and loop around Wild Life Information Center.

We will hike on the new rail trail from Slatington to WIC and loop around new Charcoal Trail back to rail trail to Slatington. Wear good shoes/boots, bring lunch and water. Call leader for meeting time and place.

Accompany members of the Ironton Rail Trail Oversight Commission as they conduct an interpretive hike along this multi-use trail.

We'll learn how coal, iron and limestone helped start the industrial revolution in America right here in the Lehigh Valley. The hike is about 6 miles long, but the pace is easy. There is no formal lunch stop, so bring a drink and some easy to eat snacks.
