Easy Weeknight Walk - 2 +/- milesLet's take a leisurely stroll around the park ~
For those of us who need some easy walking to get back in shape... we will start on the walking path around the park loop (about 3/4 mile) and then the ballfield next to the Quakertown Park (almost 2 miles). You can do either loop or both depending on how much you want to do.

Monocacy Trail and Bach at Noon ConcertHike and Concert
Meet at the Illick's Mill parking lot in Bethlehem to hike the Monocacy Trail 2 miles to Central Moravian Church in Bethlehem. The trail is flat, a combination of pavement and natural surfaces. The concert by the Bach Choir is free, but donations are appreciated. After the concert, we will eat lunch beside the Monocacy Creek and then walk 2 miles back to our cars. Bring lunch and water. Steady rain, sleet or snow on the morning of the event will cancel the hike.

South Mountain Preserve Hike (9-10 miles)Loop hike on the trails of South Mountain Preserve.
This preserve features woodland trails, large rock outcroppings, small stream crossings, moderate inclines, and several boardwalks. We will start the hike from Klines Lane parking lot at 11am so that folks can first stop at the Emmaus Farmers Market which opens at 10am... I'll be there! Sturdy hiking boots are recommended as the terrain is moderately rocky and some areas may be muddy. Bring water and lunch/snacks. Steady rain or snow cancels.

Trexler Nature Preserve Central Range HikeLeaving from the Central Range Trailhead off Old Packhouse Rd, this is a 5 mile loop hike on creek-side and wooded slopes in the Central Range of Trexler Nature Preserve with about 525 feet elevation gain.
We will hike a few different trails along Jordan Creek and the wooded slopes above on this loop hike, accumulating about 525 feet of elevation gain. We will also pass by the Bison herd. Sturdy hiking boots are recommended. Bring at least a liter of water and food/snacks. No pets and no politics please. Rain cancels.
