It's that time again for our annual summer potluck picnic. This year the date has been changed from the 1st Wednesday in July to the following Wednesday, July 11.

The club will provide hot dogs and drinks. We ask our members to bring a favorite dish to share with the group. No need to call about what to bring. We always get a variety of tasty dishes which, in turn, becomes a grand feast. DIRECTIONS: 1-78 N towards Allentown to Lehigh St and north to Downyflake Lane (1st light)and turn right. Proceed to S. 12th St and turn right. Continue to next light which is Emaus Ave. Turn left onto Emaus Ave. and continue to Honeysuckle Rd. Turn right at Salisbury Fire Co (Honeysuckle Rd), left onto Black River Rd. Franco Park is 1/4 mile on the left.

A.T. Hike - Bake Oven Road to Rt. 873

This section of the A.T. includes a view from Bake Oven Knob, lots of rocks and woods and some good rest spots. An option along the way is an alternate route on the North Trail. Bring lunch, sturdy shoes and plenty of water. Rain cancels.

Float the Lehigh River from Treichler's Bridge to the dam at Northampton for a cool passage thru the rural countryside.

Bring lunch, water, sun protection, a change of clothes and an INFLATED TRUCK tube. Trucks and vans will be appreciated to help haul the tubes. We will be leaving our lunch and dry clothes at the finish. NO PETS!!
