Hike the Thunderswamp Trail in the Delaware State Forest.

We continue the 30-mile trail started in hike #1, finishing the main loop. This pleasant trail can be swampy, so wear sturdy shoes that won't mind a little muck. Bring lunch and plenty of water. Rain cancels. Meet at the Best Western Motel (old Holiday Inn), Rt. 512. Contact leader for further information.

A short hike up and down a scenic gorge will give us plenty of time for the main event - a relaxing soak in a "cool" pool.

Be prepared to experience a full body ice cream headache! There are also sunny rocks to bask on later. Wear a swimsuit or something you don't mind getting wet. Bring lunch, liquids, sunscreen, and a change of clothes. Meet at the Days Inn at Routes 309 & 22. NO PETS! Rain cancels.

This end-to-end hike of the Plainfield Township Rail-Trail will take us from Stockertown to Pen Argyl along the banks of the beautiful Bushkill Creek.

The trail is fairly flat with a small climb toward the end. We will see wildflowers, butterflies and birds along the way, so feel free to bring a camera or binoculars. Bring plenty of water and a snack or lunch. No Dogs, please. Heavy rain cancels.
