A short hike along the chutes, drops and pools of the Seven Tubs.

We will warm up with a short 2 mile hike, then stop for lunch. Another short walk will lead us to a swimming hole where we can cool off before we return to the cars. Wear a swimsuit or something you don't mind getting wet. Bring lunch, liquids, sunscreen and a change of clothes. NO PETS!

Watch the blue moon rise from the Pinnacle!

Come and watch the blue moon rise from the Pinnacle. This is an 8 mile loop hike, starting at the Hamburg Reservoir parking lot then going up to the Pulpit and Pinnacle for spectacular views of the rising full moon. Sunset is at 8:21pm and moonrise is at 8:22pm. This is not a beginner's hike due to the ~1000' ascent, rocky terrain and nighttime conditions. Sturdy hiking boots are recommended. Bring a headlamp or flashlight, at least 2 liters of water and food/snacks. Rain or cloudy conditions cancels.

Hike the trails in the Wild Creek Cove section of Beltzville Lake.

We will start the hike at the Wild Creek Trailhead. We'll do the Christman Trail counter-clockwise with a side trip on the Green Trail along the stream. We'll then have lunch at the waterfall, hike both the Falls Trail and Cove Ridge Trail before heading back to the cars. Bring water and lunch. Heavy rain cancels.

Tubing for about 3 miles.

Float the Lehigh River from Treichlers Bridge to the dam in Northampton. Bring dry clothing and an INFLATED truck-size inner tube. Also remember sunscreen, sunglasses and a wide brimmed hat. Trucks/vans will be appreciated to help haul tubes to the starting point. NO PETS!
