Pinnacle Day HikeHike to the beautiful Pulpit and Pinnacle Overlooks on the Appalachian Trail.
Scenic loop hike starts with an uphill climb on the AT to the Pulpit overlook. We will continue on to the Pinnacle Overlook, walk along the AT to the Helicopter pad, and finish the loop walking downhill along a stream and past the Hamburg Reservoir. Meet at the Days Inn Parking lot at the intersection of Rts. 309 and Rt. 22. Note: this is a joint hike with the Appalachian Mountain club. There will be an optional stop at restaurant in Hamburg after the hike.

Accompany members of the Ironton Rail Trail Oversight Commission along this multi-use loop trail. We'll learn how coal, iron, and limestone helped start the industrial revolution in America right here in the Lehigh Valley. There is no formal lunch stop so bring a drink and some easy to eat snacks.

Lehigh Gorge / Glen Onoko Day HikeHike at Lehigh Gorge and Glen Onoko, past waterfalls and a view of the gorge.
Sooner or later my "weathered out" hikes run. With all of our rain, the falls may be in full fall fall. After the climb up the falls, we'll walk along the ridge, take a long pause overlooking the gorge, and descend more gently. Bring lunch and water; wear sturdy shoes. Rain cancels.
