Monthly meeting of the Allentown Hiking Club at St Timothy's Lutheran Church, 140 South Ott St, Allentown, Pa. This is our holiday pot luck dinner meeting and everyone is requested to bring a festive dish to share. Beverages will be provided by the club.

There will be a business meeting after dinner and we will do scheduling for the winter quarter. Please remember 6:30 PM meeting time.

Walk from Nazareth to Bethlehem along with others who prefer peace over war. Buses at meeting place will take walkers to Nazareth, the hike ending at the UCC in the center of Bethlehem. Rest stops and snacks along the way; light supper and program at the end.

Hike the Appalachian Trail and other side trails in the DWG, PA.

We’ll hike the AT from Lake Lenape up to Mt. Minsi and to the towers on the PA side of the Gap. Our return trek will be a series of trails including the Minsi Fire Rd, Lake Lettini loop, the creek-side trail to the falls and the Table Rock spur. Great views of Mt. Tammany and the Delaware River from several lookouts. Wear sturdy shoes, bring a minimum of 2 quarts of water, lunch and snacks. Rain/Snow may cancel or delay. Jacobsburg State Park.- Two hikes will take place. The first will be 5 miles. Those wishing to continue for a total of 10 can do so. The 5 mile hike covers the Eastern side of the park and the 10 mile covers both Eastern and Western areas.
