Bethlehem Holiday Walk (6 mi/2.5 hrs)Stroll the streets of Bethlehem enjoying the Sights and Sounds of the Holiday Season
(Rescheduled here to Sunday from Saturday due to rain forecast on Saturday)
COVID PROTOCOL CALLS FOR FACE COVERINGS WHEN UNABLE TO MAINTAIN A 6-FOOT SOCIAL DISTANCE.
We will gather at the plaza next to the library and leave from this point to stroll the streets of Bethlehem enjoying the sights and sounds of the season. We will walk for approximately 2½ hours, ending back at the plaza around 9:30 PM.
There could be an optional stroll to the Bethlehem Brew Works for a snack after the hike ends, depending on COVID protocol at that time.
Some notes. There are no bathroom breaks until later in the hike when we walk to the Steelstacks on the south side so plan accordingly before you get there. Also depending on where you park there are parking meters and the meters are active until 9 so having change for the meter is a good idea. There are unmetered spaces close by so just be aware if you choose to park at a metered space. There is usually a large turn out for this hike and some people only do part of it which is OK but PLEASE let the leader know before you leave the group. Rain or heavy snow will cancel the hike.
