Maintenance Hike at 8:30am, then Picnic at 1:30pm

The Maintenance Hike starts with meeting at 8:30am at the Thunderhead Lodge Restaurant's parking lot. For your reference, the restaurant's address is 2520 W Penn Pike, Andreas PA 18211. Please park your cars DIRECTLY across the street, in the AT trailhead parking lot (40.7069742,-75.8119006).

We will remove branches, blow downs, briers, rocks, trash. Getting Trail prepared for walk behind weed whacker. Walk to shelter to clean gutters, fire pit, trash, checking blue trail, privy and camping areas around shelter. Repair trail from uprooted trees. Touch up blazes. 6 to 8 miles. Bring water, gloves, mask and small hand tool (pruner if you have one, I have extra). It's a good idea to wear long sleeves and long pants for the maintenance work.

Picnic starts at 1:30pm at Leaser Lake - North Ramp area. Bring your own lunch and a chair. Not sharing due to Covid19. The address of the North Ramp is 7826-7836 Ontelaunee Rd, New Tripoli, PA 18066 (40.6752021,-75.8374937).
