Maintenance Hike at 9:00am, then Picnic at 1:00pm

The Maintenance Hike starts with meeting at 9:00am at the Thunderhead Lodge Restaurant's parking lot. For your reference, the restaurant's address is 2520 W Penn Pike, Andreas PA 18211. Please park your cars DIRECTLY across the street, in the AT trailhead parking lot (40.7069742,-75.8119006). This is our annual clean-up of our section of the Appalachian Trail. Some effort will be to remove weeds, rocks, branches, invasive's, garbage from along the trail to allow the walk behind trimmer to be used by eliminating obstacles. Also, maintenance at the shelter. Please bring gloves, trimmers, clippers, water. After clean-up we will have a picnic at 1:00 at Leaser Lake north ramp. Hot dogs will be provided by the club. Please bring a covered dish item to share with the group. Bring a chair if you want.
