A challenging 11-mile AT Shuttle hike which includes a 1000ft+ ascent, some very rocky terrain, featuring stops at Dan's Pulpit, Balanced Rock, Tri-County Corner & Allentown Shelter. Not for beginners or people with balance issues!

If you have the stamina for a steep ascent, are a confident rock-hopper, and a fan of great vistas, you should enjoy this hike. We will try to move at a good clip on those portions of the trail that allow it, but we'll take our time on the steep climbs and over the numerous rocky stretches. Our goal for this hike will NOT be to complete it as quickly as possible but to enjoy the vistas (Dan's Pulpit, Balanced Rock) and features (Tri-County Corner, Allentown Shelter) along the way. We'll be shuttling from finish to start and back, so I'll be looking for volunteer drivers. Wear sturdy boots and bring at least 2 liters of water, lunch and snacks. No pets. Rain cancels.
