Hike to the Yellow Spring Trail to "inspect" the work of the Mid Atlantic Trail Crew.

We will hike from PA 309 south four miles on the Appalachian Trail to the Allentown Shelter blue Spring Trail and see the reworked Yellow Trail, which now descends easily and safely to the lower spring. After our walk to the spring, we will visit the shelter for a snack break, and then return on the A.T. to our cars. Bring a snack and water. Heavy rain cancels.
