A challenging hike which includes a 1000ft+ ascent and some very rocky terrain, and features stops at Dan's Pulpit, Balanced Rock, Tri-County Corner & Allentown Shelter. Not for beginners!

If you have the stamina for a steep ascent, are a confident rock hopper, and a fan of great vistas, you should enjoy this hike. We will move at a good clip on those portions of the trail that allow it, but we'll take our time over the numerous rocky stretches, and we will stop to enjoy the vistas (Dan's Pulpit, Balanced Rock) and features (Tri-County Corner, Allentown Shelter) along the way. We'll be shuttling from finish to start and back, so I'll be looking for volunteer drivers. Wear sturdy boots and bring at least 2 liters of water, lunch and snacks. No dogs. Rain cancels.
