Walk along the Lehigh River on a rail trail.

We will walk north from Cove Road. This section of trail is nestled between a steep hillside and the Lehigh River, providing views of the water and a rare feeling of isolation in the Lehigh Valley. After 4 miles we will turn around and return to our cars. Bring water and snacks. Steady rain on morning of hike cancels. No calls the morning of the hike.

Hike / bike / on-water distance: 8 miles
Meeting place: Meet at Cove Road Trailhead, which is under the Rt. 145 bridge over the Lehigh River. Driving north on Rt. 145, look for the street and D&L sign on your right. If you drive across the Lehigh River, you missed the turn.
