KTA Spring Meeting and Hiking WeekendThe Keystone Trails Association will host its spring meeting and hiking weekend from Friday, April 15 to Sunday, April 17 in West Chester, Chester County.
Bucolic Chester County is located in southeastern Pennsylvania, and its natural beauty is marked by a pleasant, rolling landscape. Explore and be charmed by the many hiking trails found in the region including the Brandywine Trail and the Horse-Shoe Trail as well as French Creek, Marsh Creek and Ridley Creek State Parks and the Valley Forge National Historic Park.
With thanks to the combined efforts of the Batona Hiking Club, Chester County Trail Club, Horse-Shoe Trail Conservancy, Philadelphia Trail Club and Wilmington Trail Club, the Keystone Trails Association is proud to present a weekend hike schedule that truly highlights the very best in hiking in southeastern Pennsylvania. View the complete hike schedule at KTA-hike.org.
In addition to the area’s hiking pursuits, the Brandywine Valley offers the weekend visitor additional “trails” to explore, including an “art trail” (Brandywine River Museum, Winterthur Museum), a “garden trail” (Longwood Gardens, Tyler Arboretum, Hagley Museum), a “wine trail” (Chaddsford Winery), a “history trail” (Brandywine Battle Field, Valley Forge National Park) and much, much more!
Mark your calendar for April 15-17, 2011, and join KTA in Chester County this spring. Hope to see you on the trail!
