This is a challenging hike along the Appalachian ridge which will include 1.1 miles on an exposed, unstable boulder field and a very steep 600 ft descent and return from Devil's Pulpit.

Not for beginners! Many great views! Leaving from and returning to Lehigh Furnace Gap on the A.T. This "loop"will include portions of the A.T. as well as the north and south trails on either side of it and the side trail to Devil's Pulpit. We will traverse a 1.1 mile unstable boulder field on the South trail and make the very steep 600 ft descent and return from Devil's Pulpit, a rock outcropping perched 200 ft above the Lehigh River.
