Loop hike to summit of Blue Mountain using a variety of trails.

From the Nature Center, we will hike the Woodpecker Trail to the Appalachian Trail and ascend Blue Mountain, passing the Outerbridge Shelter. Leaving the A. T., we will hike the North Trail to the summit, with nice views of Palmerton. We will descend the north side of Blue Mountain using the Charcoal and Prairie Grass Trails, and return to our cars on the LNE Trail. Bring snacks and water. No dogs. Steady rain cancels.
