Pulpit Rock & Pinnacle are often considered the two premier vistas on the entire PA stretch of the AT, offering endless views of Lehigh valley and its surrounding ridges. With about 1300 feet in elevation gain, it’s also a great workout, with most of the gain happening within a 2 mile stretch. We’re going to keep the group together, hence it’s important that you’re able to maintain a 3.0 mph pace. We will watch the sunset at the top of the mountain, & walking down in the dark. Having a red-light only headlamp is required to do this hike, sorry no white lights.
