Join us for another Tender's Project.

This time we will be breaking new ground by checking out some of the locks and historical features of the canal located between Jim Thorpe and Weisport. This section is the beginning of what was known as the "Lower Division" (is this a demotion?) and features a lock used to weigh each empty canal boat where it entered the canal at the beginning of the season. Bring gloves; wear long sleeves, long pants and waterproof footwear if possible. Call to register by Sunday, May 9th so I can submit a head count for lunch.
