Hike 10 miles on Saturday and 7.5 miles on Sunday in the Dolly Sods Wilderness Area of West Virginia - THIS EVENT IS NOW FULL.

Sat 05/03/2008: Dolly Sods Loop hike of 10 miles in the Dolly Sods Wilderness Area of West Virginia. More than 2000 ft of total climbing on this hike. We will start on the East end of the park for this 10 mile Circuit Hike. Sun 05/04/2008: Dolly Sods Loop hike of 7.5 miles. Approx 2000 ft of elevation gain. This 7.5 mile Circuit Hike will take us on a Strenuous climb. Sturdy hiking boots, water and a lunch is required for both hikes. These hikes are scouting hikes as the leader has not done them. The trails do not have blazes and signs are not being replaced as they become damaged. For this reason allow for the possibility of changes in the hikes. Please expect to be screened if you have not previously hiked with Al. Due to cabin limitations, group size has been limited to 14 people. We will drive to WV Friday afternoon. Expect to hike with Allentown Hiking Club members and AMC members. Contact leader for more details.
