Whip-Poor-Will HikeHike from Osprey House to the towers and down translator lane.
We will hike via LNE trail, Prairie Grass Trail, Charcoal Trail and the Blue Trail to the towers, than down Translator lane. We will wait at the towers until dark and attempt to listen for the call of a Whip-Poor-Will. A flashlight is essential. A hiking stick is suggested because Translator lane is very steep, eroded and gravely. Please wear sturdy shoes and bring a bottle of water. Binoculors may be useful.This hike will be interpreted by Dan Kunkle and Bob Hoops from the Nature Center.This hike will require a car shuttle.We will meet at Lehigh Gap Nature Center Osprey house.
